Art & Woodblock Prints by Daniel Hokusai

Munch was conceived during my university studies, following the completion of my second year over the summer. The initial idea emerged in the early hours of a hot night, around 3 a.m., when a single phrase — “pu**y munch” — was noted down as the starting point for an exploration of humour, desire, and appetite. At the time, the work was shaped as much by circumstance as by intention, influenced by long nights, limited resources, and the simplicity of surviving on Super Noodles throughout the summer.

The first variation, Pickled Pu**y, was developed digitally in Adobe and became the foundation for the series. It was soon followed by Roast Pu**y and Flamin’ Pu**y, completing a set of variants that reference both consumer culture and familiar British vernacular, recontextualised through erotic imagery and satire.

The work is presented as a high-quality 300 DPI print on a 12” × 16” canvas. Munch is intended for collectors of contemporary erotic British art, blending humour, provocation, and graphic clarity. Individual works or multiple variations from the series may be selected for purchase via the Buy Now option below.
